A Vintage Graphic

For my Digi Desserts Fridaze post, I chose to use a Vintage Graphic from
Paper Crafting World.
When you need a quick card, these graphics make it so easy.  Just pick some great paper and a simple layout and you're good to go.  The beauty of these images is that Melin offers them in different tones along with the original color.

I used the sepia image as I thought it worked perfectly with the DCWV papers from the Mariposa stack.  I added crinkle ribbon (dyed it myself using Distress Stain) and Scrapper's floss.
Here's a link to the Vintage Pink Flowers digital graphic.

Why don't you join our Link up at My Paper Crafting.  You can use ANY digital image.  We'd love to see your project.  Just click on the DDF tab on the home page.
There is a free digi for you to download as well.

Wishing each of you a Happy Easter.

Hippity Hoppity

Is the Easter Bunny heading your way?
The Delightful Challenges theme this week is Hippity Hoppity.  We were asked to include a bunny or rabbit on our project or create something for spring.
I chose this delightful image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  It's called
Bugs of Love Bunny Set and the sentiment is included.  It's such a fun image with a different twist to most of the bunny image you find.  I hope you like it.

All of the materials I used are from my stash so I can't even give you manufacturers - sorry.  But at least I'm using up my stash, right?

You can enter our Hippity Hoppity challenge by linking your project to
There are three ways to win: a guest designer will be selected by the DT members and 2nd and 3rd place each win an image from Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  Finally, one lucky entry will win a selection of ribbons from

For You, From Me

Hello My Crafty Friends,
I hope you're having a good week so far.  I've been deep into housework for the past two days (company's coming!) and haven't had a chance to post.

Today is Wonderful Wednesday at My Paper Crafting.  It's the day we design team members share projects we've made using our Cricuts.  Our theme this week is "Irish Eyes are Smiling."

I found myself going through one of my favorite cartridges, A Child's Year, and here's what I made:

I used the silhouette base and shift images found on page 31 along the the shadow feature for each.  The "mat" is actually the card feature found on the same page.  Love the cute little clover cutouts. Ribbon, doodling, and some gems, that finished the card.

Come on over to MPC and join us for this week's challenge.  You'll see some fabulous designs- those Irish eyes are definitely smiling!!

IT'S NOT TOO LATE
to link up to our Digi Desserts Fridaze post.  If you didn't pick up the free digi, it's still available.  It would be so easy to just print the pre-colored image and add a few embellies.  Talk about a ready-to-go card.  So, come and join HERE.

You're So Tweet!

For my Digi Desserts Fridaze project I'm using the FREE image.  That means you can head over to My Paper Crafting and pick up one for yourself!!  Woohoo!

I used Copic markers to color the birdie using the "coloring folds" technique for the feathers on his wing and tail.  I made the crinkle ribbon using Tim Holtz Distress Stain and Hug Snug seam binding.

I would love to see your digi image project linked up to our DDF post at My Paper Crafting.  You could be selected to receive a free digi image from Paper Crafting World.  And, if you use a PCW image (including any of the freebies), you may be chosen to be our next Guest Designer.
What are you waiting for??

I'm linking this card to Tuesday Throwdown's "you're on my mind" challenge.
